Restoration house - old mountain farmhouse
In Italia in Valle Stura, nel Cuneese , una seconda casa elegante e confortevole come luogo di vacanza.
Prima della ristrutturazione, per circa 150 anni era stato un tipico rustico di montagna con stalle e fienili.
Nel 1993 la ristrutturazione l’ha trasformata nella totalità, rispettandone le particolarità interessanti
preesistenti delle volte a botte delle stalle; per il resto della costruzione si è operato liberamente, dividendo
l’interno in tre piani collegati tra loro da una scala ellittica centrale, con balconate interne che permettono
l’affaccio sui piani sottostanti.
Dal piano terreno del soggiorno si ha la possibilità di visibilità a tutta altezza dal pavimento alla struttura del tetto. L’apertura di nuove ampie finestre hanno reso possibile una visibilità ulteriore verso la Valle antistante.
The Stura Valley, near Cuneo (Piedmont, Italy), is the perfect place for an elegant and comfortable holiday house.
Before the restoration, for about 150 years this house had been a typical mountain farmhouse with stables and barns. In 1993 the restoration transformed it completely, respecting its interesting and original peculiarities of the barrel vaults inside the stables. Concerning the rest of the construction, the project acted freely, dividing the indoor part in three floors, connected between them with a central spiral staircase. Every floor provided with
balconies overlooking the ones below.
From the living room it is possible to have the completely height from floor to rooftop. The opening of new big windows made possible to join the view upon the Valley.
