Nel centro di Milano in un tipico palazzo di inizi ‘900 la ristrutturazione di una residenza privata.
L’impianto originale della casa classicamente suddiviso da stanze e corridoi, è stato completamente variato
creando spazi tra loro continui con passaggi a tutta altezza.
Si è voluto mantenere l’allure di inizio secolo scorso, creando delle boiserie perimetrali in cui sono state inserite le vecchie porte come armadi.
I nuovi pavimenti in legno riprendono il disegno classico a campi centrali. I nuovi colori degli interni nei toni deigrigi si alternano a toni più marcati. L’inserimento di nuovi elementi in ferro al vivo degli arredi creano un interessante contrasto.
Gli specchi utilizzati a tutta altezza ampliano la visibilità degli spazi stessi, creando effetti di continuità.
In the city centre of Milan, in a characteristic 20th century building, the restoration of a private house took place.
The original structure of the house, generally divided into rooms and hallways, has been completely changed creating spaces connected between them with full height passages.
The project aimed at keeping up the allure of the past century, creating some perimeter boiserie where the old doors have been included as closets.
The new wooden flooring wants to take over the classical central laying pattern. Concerning the interiors, the tones of grey have been alternated with more marked ones. New inserts, made with wrought-iron elements for the furnitures, aimed at creating an interesting contrast.
The use of full height mirror wanted to enlarge the vision upon the spaces of the house and create continuity.
